In dedication of being a guest of the most beautiful wedding celebration I have ever had the pleasure of attending, I penned an open letter to one of the grooms - my dear friend, Colton.
My lovely Colton,
Ever since we met years ago in Key Biscayne, I knew you'd stolen my heart forever. The similarities we shared were unreal - from our overly emotional Cancerian personalities, to our love of being in front of the camera, and the deep depths of our incredibly old souls who adore music, dancing and friendship. The mixture of our energies together in a room is enough to overwhelm, well, anyone - but I wouldn't have it any other way!
Thanks to social media, many people have asked if I share the same DNA as you because of our fierce jaw angles in photos. So, because of the amazing people of Instagram, it's claimed that we're officially related! As my brother and friend, I couldn't be more thrilled for you and your new husband, Jeff.
My heart is so full of happiness because you have found your true love. We've both experiences a plethora of changes as we've grown older (full of youth) and wiser; and I am forever grateful that we got to help each other along the way. Certainly, we have come a long way. Jeff was an enormous blessing for you - thank goodness you found one another!
I was ecstatic to witness you two exchange vows under the stars, while you were surrounded by an abundance of flowers, candles, love and smiles. With my sincerest wishes, I cannot wait to watch your enchanted story continue to unfold with Jeff as you navigate through life together. I was honored to be a part of your magical wedding celebration and will cherish our memories deep in my heart.
From your whirlwind
of a best friend, I love you, C.
